The death of Talos is depicted on a 5th-century BCE krater now in the Jatta National Archaeological Museum in Ruvo di Puglia(The original one). In Greek mythology, Talos or Talon was a giant automaton made of bronze to protect Europa in Crete from pirates and invaders. He circled the island's shores three times daily. Red-figure vase painting is one of the most important styles of figural Greek vase painting. It developed in Athens around 530 BC and remained in use until the late 3rd century BC. It replaced the previously dominant style of Black-figure vase painting within a few decades. Its modern name is based on figural depictions in red color on a black background, in contrast to the preceding black-figure style with black figures on a red background. It was Hand made in Greece, height is approximately 15 inches. Our clay items are Hand painted and not fastly made, nor are they cheaply made of substitute materials such as resin. We stick to the materials and methods used by ancient Greeks and use only top-quality ceramics and paints. Do not expect "perfection" as if these clay vases were not mass produced from a machine like many are but by hand. (19)
