The Cycladic culture flourished on the islands of the Aegean Sea from about 3,300 BC until 2000 BC. Cycladic sculptures are highly stylised, almost modern-looking, and work well in contemporary environments. This figure is inspired by the Cycladic figurines that where carved in marble and you can see them in museum all over the World. They are remarkable for their abstract simplicity, which is believed to have inspired modern day artists such as Pablo Picasso and Henry Moore.
It was made in Greece, height is 4 cm width is 2.1 cm and weighs approximately 15 g. (795)
