The original, full-size bronze statue, dating to ca 475-445 BC, is now in the National Archaeological Museum in Athens. There has been considerable debate about his identity. He was discovered in the sea, off Cape Artemision, between 1926 ad 1928 and is one of the handful of original, full-size bronze statues to survive from antiquity. . This statue, as with all our other bronze items, are cast in Greece, using the traditional 'lost wax' method, therefore each piece is unique. It was made in Greece, stands 100 centimeters high, 100 centimeters width, and weighs approximately 40kg.
