This boat is inspired by the penteconter, a forerunner of the Athenian bireme and trireme, an ancient Greek galley used since the archaic period. The penteconter was a long range ship, used for sea trade, piracy, warfare and exploration, capable of transporting freight or troops. This ship, as with all our other bronze items, are cast in Greece, using the traditional 'lost wax' method, therefore each piece is unique. It was made in Greece, stands 37 centimeters high, 47 centimeters width, and weighs approximately 6.5 kg.
